Funding

Funding services information

Once we have an understanding of the assistance you require, we can provide you with a cost estimate of our services.

Please contact us to discuss your service needs.

Transport Accident Commission (TAC) - Occupational Therapy services

If you are a new TAC client, Occupational Therapy is pre-approved for the first 90 days after your discharge from hospital.

If you have had your injuries for longer than 90 days (or it is more than 90 days since your discharge), we will liaise with your TAC co-ordinator and request pre approval for an initial assessment.

In both instances, please share with us your TAC claim number and TAC co-ordinators details and we will liaise with the TAC to ensure an approval for OT services is in place prior to our first meeting.

During your initial 90 days of treatment, or the initial assessment, we will discuss your needs, how we can help you to achieve your goals and then complete an initial OT assessment plan including a funding request for the TAC. Once this is approved, we can begin supporting you to achieve your goals.

Vicwide Health Network do not charge any out of pocket fees for TAC clients.

iCare (including Lifetime Care and Workers Care) – Case Management and Occupational Therapy services

If you have recently been accepted as an interim participant in an iCare scheme, there will be some services pre-approved for the first 16 weeks. We will liaise with your co-ordinator to assist with setting up these approvals.

After the first 16 weeks, we will help you to complete a My Plan which outlines your aspirations and goals and will align with funding requests for services to support you. Once this is approved, we can commence further therapy.

Vicwide Health Network do not charge any out of pocket fees for iCare participants.
